SIMPLE CLASSIC

Olaide my bride’s wedding was simple but classic; it was fewer crowds, on a Thursday in the city of akure Ondo State.  Traditional wedding and white wedding was held same day with less crowd, only family and friends that matters. This made food more than enough “lol”, that was the best part. I had fun all through the event.  The colors, hall decoration and music, all made the day glamorous.

I wish Olaide my friend and  her husband a happy married life.

25^th may 2013, working on two brides a day has always being my greatest fear, disappointing my client on their wedding day is one thing I honestly don’t want to do.  With my relationship with both brides I couldn’t decline their requests, thank God it was different time for both events, which made my plans and job a success. The most amazing thing was the fact that both brides lodged in different hotels but with the same room number. Room 314 “lol”.

         My pretty bride Ijeoma called me for her trials some weeks ago, her job couldn’t allow her keep to appointments. We had to book the appointment for the eve of her wedding for her trial but she couldn’t make it.

I remembered she told me “Opeyemi, I had my trial with a makeup artist and it was so not nice, but I just have this feeling that I can trust u. can I?’ I told her ‘yes don’t worry’ u will look beautiful’.

Ijeoma has this face that you will almost not recognize after makeup, the before and after transformation was awesome. Few friends who saw the look on my BBM pinged me, saying she wasn’t the same person. LOL!

       I had the opportunity to do Adetutu’s bridal makeup sometimes last year, and am so thankful to God that I was able to celebrate her cute baby girl’s naming ceremony with her.

Jayne Aku and Anthony Dodo

     27th of April 2013, on this day, Jayne Aku and her sweetheart Anthony Dodo were joined together in Holy Matrimony in the Federal capital territory of Nigeria. It was fun all the way. The reception was not just beautiful, but also interesting. The decoration, the colour and designs of Aso Ebi, down to the creativity of the D.J and the band all took my breath away. It was fun all the way. I wish my beautiful and humble bride a blissful home.

       I met my bride Joy, through Anita the CEO of Belisse Artistry one of the best makeup artist of our generation.
She was meant to do the bridal makeup for Joy, but she had to travel that day, so the next name on her mind was Bloom “wink”.

How honored to have known this kind hearted lady. Joy was so calm plus she allowed me to do my Job; also she has a beautiful smile that lightened up everyone’s mood.
