Today i had fun, I had to do 3 different looks for Event Africa Magazine, one of the looks was light makeup, the second look was a bit Smokey and the third was colorful. Tutorials on these looks will be up soon but in the main time enjoy

LOOK OF THE WEEK

It’s about time with a new makeup tutorial, don’t you think? I was inspired to do this look by one of my brides who wanted to wear a Nude but Smokey look, and I got lots of compliment for it so I thought I should share BROW: I used KHOLE sleek eye brow pencil dark brown, corrected with Mary Kay foundation 507 which was my model’s color. Highlighted with Ferosewe, Tara makeup. EYE: eye shadow Sleek Sunset palette, I blended with the dark brown in Tara set4, contoured with dark brown in Tara set 4 and was enhanced with dark brown in Shanny eye shadow palette. I used sleek eye liner and mascara plus Davis green eye pencil to brighten the eye. FACE: Zaron color3 concealer, covered with Mary Kay foundation 507, and Zaron LZ25 for the powder. BLUSH: Blush in Zaron show stopper palette BRONZER: bronzed the T-Zone with Glo medium in sleek face and body. LIP: lined with miss rose lip pencil and covered with Jordana pink lipstick covered with N.K translucent lip gloss Model: Lolade Owokoniran(thanks dear) Please feel free to make comment and ask questions thanks.

It was a fun filled event with the best designers in Abuja. Working on 10 models wasn’t an easy task but thanks to my dear- Anita and Taye who gave their helping hands. I must confess all the designers did very good jobs from the African jewelry(ileke),to Ankara bags, shoes, fascinators and lovely dresses. Proud to be a Nigerian.

RUTH'S PRE WEDDING

Today my client walked into the studio for her pre wedding makeup, I almost didn’t recognize her. We met last year in my church through her friend Yinka who has being telling me about her best friend’s wedding. Ruth my bride to be wasn’t so sure of her look on her big day so we decided to do some trials. After this trial all Ruth was saying was “Ope I want this exact look nude lips, with a simple but classy touch on the eye. Can’t wait to be in Kaduna. “It’s about to go down” (wink)

it was a remarkable day, a day that the James and the Kolawole's family will never forget. it was the happiest moment in the lives of Bunmi my beautiful bride and Seun my darling brother inlaw. It wasnt easy being the chief bride's maid and also the makeup artist. oh yeah you guessed right it was my one and only sister's wedding. like every other sister this day we laughed, argued and cried as we will miss each other so much(wink)B.J like i love to call her am happy God blessed this day for us. congratulations again sis. muah. enjoy her look.

BEAUTIFUL BIMBOLA AND HER SISTER INLAW

Abimbola was my colleague she has always admired my job, and she always encourages me, she also inspires me a lot. Bimbo just to let you know I am always grateful and thanks for always being there. Abimbola and her sister in-law gave me a surprise visit at the studio on their way to a way to a wedding requesting for a beautiful makeover of course it was my pleasure. It was another beautiful day, in the city of Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria. Pretty Becky’s booking was an impromptu but am happy I didn’t miss it, it was so much fun. I pray God bless their union.

Wow it was an amazing way to stat the year I had great fun in Ondo town, Ondo state Nigeria. Febisola Akinjagunla my beautiful bride was calm, and peaceful. She allowed me to do my job and also trusted my judgment though her brow gave me a tough time because my client told me she doesn’t have brows (lol) but she trusted my professional skills of course I created a good brow for Febisola and we both smiled. John her hubby is one man I know that loves pictures (smiles) he made the day of his photographer. Loving, sweet couple what can I say, may the good lord bless your union.
